I use Greenfish Icon Editor Pro. It's totally free at http://download.cnet.com/Greenfish-Icon-Editor-Pro/3000-2193_4-10773415.html But for rocketdock, I don't bother with it. I use that to do .ico files for like, Windows. But for docks, I just do it all in photoshop and save as .png. Some are modified images from the web, some made from scratch with a tablet.
