I'd like to get the PSD with all the widgets so I can take a look at it, and maybe start working on a linux port if that's alright? I'm not sure how this works... is the suite going to be opensource so that everyone can participate and make a theme, or do I have to ask for permission first?

I'm not sure where to put this but here is a rough draft of a CAD skin based on the audio player mockups...

If anyone uses CAD, download it & try it out, send a PM with comments or suggestions. I'll take it down once there is a section to put/organize this stuff. What should I do with this marius?

@jg: looks good so far, but I think you've to add the fonts to the package

and zip em as .cskin, easier installation :P

Hey, thank you for all the feedback yet!

There is one thing i forgot about betas and releases.
Official release date is October 1st.

Please note this and dont give out any betas or releases anywhere else. This is a Custo project ;). Thanks!

This image shows the non-alphablended WindowBlinds borders, you may use it for software that doesn't support alphablending.

When you really start working on something, email me and i'll send you more images and colour values.

This one shows the alphablended ones, just to give an idea.

Same story here, email me when you need some resources.

by the way to are we going to stick to one font? if so, Segoe UI 8pt? or how do we treat this case?

naalo says:

Yeah, that'd probably be best, gives the suite a nice complete look. And Advent for logo's and such.

i guess i'll ask this here since it's design related: what size standard do you want wallpapers? i still use an ages old monitor, so i'm not really up on what the size standard is these days... ^_^* also, what format: png or jpg?

naalo says:

Sizewise 1920x1200 or even better 2560x1600. png is better for gradients, but doesn't always work as a wall, so jpg does fine too as long as the compression is low.

wow, all the previews look amazing guys.

i'd have to say it'd be utterly amazing to be able to do something along the lines of the tango patcher for the icons, but that would require a ton more work.
