i am currently a winamp user but what to switch over to foobar but i am so clueless on how to customize it. what do i need to do to make it look something like this
well know after a long, confused day, i now got the playlist down. but know i am stumped on how people get that little remote that shows the position bar and the buttons.
abyssal: for the GSM foobar you'll have to use foo_looks and collumns_ui (foo_looks doesnt run with foobar 0.9x tho)
the foobar on the first shot is even just the default_ui I think ...you'll have a similar look right after installing it, just change the colors and the placement of the visualisation toolbar et voila!
yeah man. its wasnt GSM foobar specifically i was talking about. i was asking about how to get a remote like that for foobar but Pyro cleared everything up. And i think i got it know.I definitely like foobar better than winamp now. it was a great switch.but thanks for the help.all i did was install columns ui and reshacked the icon out as well as made some buttons. whew
foo_looks is a skinnable plugin for Foobar (0.8.3), which controls it, much like the top part of a Winamp skin, where the regular Foobar (playlist) is more like Winamp's bottom part.
Currently I can't remember with FB 0.8.3. I really want that bar spectrum! If anyone has a link or has the plugin to do that in old FB I might kill or it.
go to preferences - select columns ui in the explorer tree - then click on the Layout tab. This is where you add toolbars, buttons, panels, and the spectrum analyser. Look at the splitter type you have, for having the spectrum at the bottom you need it to be a vertical splitter. then from there, right-click on the vertical splitter on the layout order and go to insert panel. Then go to visualizations and select the spectrum analyser. Then you should see it at the bottom and then apply.
does this help? if you still have trouble just message me.
