Online office tools? *poof!*

Where'd all those online word processors and stuff disappear to, weren't they meant to be the future for document creation?

Opening OpenOffice off a portable flash-drive instead of Office is a start, but ideally I'd like to get the hell away from software and have a sweet little repository to stash all my documents online and a suite of office tools to boot.

So far I know of one solution to consider, though it's hardly "ideal" to keep data on a third party you can't trust... preferably it would ftp sync to your hosting account.
